Library Hours and Holidays

The public service desks and reading rooms in Sacramento are open Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

The Sutro Library in San Francisco is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as the first Saturday of each month, excluding holidays.

(2009 state holidays: Jan. 1 and 19; Feb. 12 and 16; Mar. 31; May 25; July 4; Sept. 7; Oct. 12; Nov. 11, 26 and 27; Dec. 25)
